out of the blue

Sometimes.... when God wants to really get our attention He uses others to do His will.
Sometimes.... those "others" are older more seasoned Christians.
Sometimes.... those "others" are the sweaty little barefoot kid running around the yard.
It was just Alexis and me in the yard, when out of the blue she says,
"Mama, God talks to me."
I tried to hide my surprise and said, "Really?  What does He say to you?"
"Sometimes....{pause}....He tells me just to believe."

"I'll say, yes, Lord, yes
            to Your will and to Your way.
I'll say, yes, Lord, yes
              I will trust You and obey.
When the Spirit speaks to me
     with  my whole heart I'll agree.

    Oh, so sweet. Just tonight my 7 year old prayed for her dog because she got sick on the carpet. The sweet innocence of faith is refreshing. Thank you for sharing.

    So sweet!!! We all need that reminder - "just to believe"- I love it! That chorus is one of my favorites! I belt it out in my car a lot. :)
