plant a seed.
I'm talking about the itty-bitty-widdle ones that you buy at Wal-Mart (for all you lucky girlies that have a Wal-Mart). They used to be a dime for a pack of seeds, maybe 20 cents. But take the time this week to plant seeds with your kids. It's cheap. It's fun. It's educational.
It's a good life lesson. Our current favorite is sunflower seeds. Those are so amazing. Your kids can hold the tiny seed in their hand. After good old sunshine, and a little time and water, you'll be taking their picture by a 6 foot flower. "Read your Bible, Pray everyday and you'll grow...grow....grow."
Take the challenge...spend a dime....get dirty.
Thanks, Maria! I like the sunflower idea. They make for some really cute pictures, too! Love, Hannah

When our two oldest were little, we once made a Sunflower fence. Everyone loved it. We also made sunflower forts.
