matching them, recognizing them, remembering their names, etc.
I started with a wooden board and had handsome hubby put some nails (with big heads) in it.
Hammers and I don't get along. Don't ask.
My original thought was to tie different colored ribbons on the nails,
but my 3 year old was having a hard time making the ribbon go through the beads.
So I wrapped a pipe cleaner and had her try that.
Perfect.
I'd sure like to shake the hand of the one who invented pipe cleaners...they are just genius.

I bought lots of beads at Hobby Lobby last time I was in the States
and I've used them so many times as a {quiet} project for the girls.

I leave some long cords in the jar and have them string and restring them.
The first day I just had her work on one color.
We were working on Green.
Then I twisted all different colors on the board and had her match colors.
If you are really good you can put the beads on with your eyes closed....little goof!
For my older girls I started a pattern and had them work on continuing the pattern.
this is AWESOME!!!!! i think you should think about a child's craft book??? i do believe so : )
