{no bake} twix bars recipe

no bake?  how awesome is that?
since my kitchen never gets below 89 at any point of the day...I love this recipe!
I started making it a few years ago and I'm honestly not sure where it came from.

It's fast.  It's yummy.  It's husband and kids approved.  It's got Chocolate!

Without further adieu.....

No Bake Twix Bars
1. Prepare the Pan
Line a 9x13 cake pan with foil and lightly spray.
arrange those square club crackers in the bottom of the pan, completely covering the bottom
2. Make the carmel sauce
On the stovetop melt together:
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 cup crushed graham crackers
bring to a slow boil and stir regularly for about 4 1/2 minutes.
You want the mixture to become carmel like
and start pulling away from the edges of the pot.
3. Pour the gooey hot stuff
immediately pour the carmel sauce on top of the crackers
carefully layer with another row of crackers, gently pushing them down
4. The waiting period
I leave it on the counter til it cools to touch
then I put it in the fridge and let it really cool for 30 minutes
5.  It's chocolate time, Baby!
melt together:
1 cup chocolate chips
2/3 cup peanut butter
immediantly pour over crackers and smooth and swirl with a spoon

put back in fridge until it is firm (30 minutes or so)
the foil makes it easier to lift it out and cut into cute little delectable squares!

Enjoy!

My Mom always says, "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all."

You're sugary, sweet comments mean so much to me!
