When we were there last week, there was a group of teens jumping in the river. I put my foot down when my little girls wanted to jump in also. It is very, very deep and fast moving. When they heard we were headed that way, they packed their life jackets in the bus. So needless to say, that's all they talked about until Mrs. Mack found a rope and daddy tied it onto them. One at a time they jumped in and swam around.
There was an occasional panicked moment when they would float to close to the grassy spots...which they were convinced the alligators hid.
I was so proud of all of them. I don't think I want to swim there. Moriah swam all the way across!

Oh my goodness! That video cracked me up! My daughter would have freaked out if Daddy did that to her! Good for Eden, though, for being brave.
