Eden and "kie"

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day with a crisp breeze stirring the leaves. I LOVE hanging laundry on the line and do so almost daily. When I woke up and saw the sunshine coming in my window, I was energized and decided to wash our sheets and blankets. The morning was going smoothly, the girls were playing in the backyard and I was in the house packing and sorting for our yard sale coming up in a few days.

All of a sudden I heard Eden start screaming and throwing a fit! I ran outside and tried to coax her into the house. She refused, kept shaking her head and backing away. Then she took off running for the clothesline. Ohhh, I get it. Eden's best friend "kie" was hanging on the line amongst all the other blankets. She grabbed the end of it and started to tug it off and when that wouldn't work, she held on tight to it and refused to forsake her best friend!

I was impressed and touched by her loyalty. Thank you, Lord, for my wonderful daughters!
