The first VBS at Spot Valley Independent Baptist Church is over. Had a blast. Glad it's finished. {deep sigh}
What did we learn? That we definitely need more workers next year. Any takers?
Not complaining about the ones we had. My mom came from the States along with a teen age boy from our home church in Baton Rouge. They each brought candy, quiet seat prizes and craft supplies to make it so much fun for the kids. Who would have thought that the teens would be so ecstatic over a balloon or a bubble necklace? One of our church ladies was able to come every day and one more came for a few days. Couldn't have done it without them! I'm so thankful for their help.
The last day got pretty crazy with 55 (counted) people..the water balloon fight was a huge hit.
Really praying that it made an impact in Spot Valley and it was an outreach in the community.

You definitely looked like you could use more help! The kids are so adorable that they make me want to come right over...especially love the little guy with the pink balloon.
