Time to try the tears. {deep breath} I'm praising the Lord that He lead us to be in the States for Princess Brynlee's birth, 4 months ago. While there we spent so much time with family making {priceless} memories at every chance.
Papa Larry loved his great-granddaughters and wasn't embarrassed to tell them so...over...and over...and over.
I plan on having my little princesses help me do a post of our memories of Papa. But not just yet. For today I want to catch up and post some projects and crafts we've been working on the last few days.
We made these cute paper machete teacups.
Perfect craft for a princess...don't you think?
This one is my favorite.
They are not completely finished,
so I might take a picture of the set later.
I'm painting "ocean" things on each girl's after they finished them.
Princess Alexis wants a pirate map on hers.
idea from this blog Ann Wood
This sad little chair had a crack in the cushion...ouch!
I used an old plastic table cloth....snip...snip.
I unscrewed the back and bottom....lefty loosy.
Found Prince's staple gun...feel the power?
And made it purdy.
Princess Alexis helped fix the back part.
The wood was to thin for staples, but hot glue worked wonderfully.
Welcoming little work space.
Good bye for now,

So sorry to hear about your Papa. Glad you were able to spend some time with him.
Also, the chairs are adorable! We have a few chairs like that at the church...I'm going to have to give it a try.
Sorry for your loss.
Re: The chairs. Now I want to go buy that set just to re-upholster the little chairs.
I am praying for you, Maria. I know it is not easy. I was in New Guinea when my Grandpa went to Heaven. My heart is definitely with you right now . . . praying.
Great job on those chairs; they look brand new!
Praying for you, Maria! What a blessing Heaven is!
Sorry about your Papa! My whole family is in Cal, while I am in NY. Not as far away as you are, but I've missed several funerals and weddings. I was quite upset at missing my grandpa's as well. =(
Love your crafts!!
I am so proud to have known your grandpa. He was such a sweet man. I took care of him a few years back when I still worked at the care center. He really loved all of his family. He would pull us in there to talk about all of you guys and update those of us who knew members of your family. I can smile at his memory even after only knowing him a short time. So sorry for your loss, but heaven surely has gained.
I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather! I will be praying for you and passed the word along to our church, Adelphi Baptist.
