Christmas T' Time {#3}

This is a little late due to ummm....let's call it "technical difficulties."  One of the joy's of living on a foreign Island.  The electricity has been really hit and miss since last Thursday.

Today's Take the time to Christmas Challenge is....
            all about white as snow!

1. Penmanship verse is Isaiah 1:18  "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

2. I showed princess Moriah a picture of a snowflake made out of popsicle sticks.  Then I handed her a glue gun.  Brave aren't I?  This is her creation.  Pretty good for 7 years old.  She even painted it to match her outfit.
3. We made "snow" with homemade play dough and silver sparkles.
4. We cut snowflakes out of coffee filters and tied them to the the bars on the door.  They flittered in the wind.
5. The girls helped me pull weeds and plant some new baby rose plants...a good December chore... huh?  After we scrubbed all the dirt out from our nails I had a BIG surprise for them.    American Double Stuffed Oreos!  I was....I mean, they were so excited! This really was special.  I had brought them back to the Island and saved them for special time...like 4 days before Christmas.
6. After bath time I popped a bowl of popcorn.  The princesses strung it while we watched the movie Small One.  One of our favorites, and makes me tear up each time the boy says "good bye" to his donkey.
Decking the halls,
