upsy daisy updo tutorial

I love finding feminine hairstyles and sharing them.
Ladies, {tapping on my desk for attention}
I believe we have to fight for all things beautiful, delicate, and girly
 or our granddaughters will only see things like this in storybooks.
You're a lady, be beautiful.
God made you that way.

{stepping down off my soap box}
Try this beautiful twisted hairstyle with a simple trick for added body.
I'm blessed to have some gorgeous sisters and sis-in-laws.
With Prince's Sister, Heather visiting the last 10 days
 we've had a little girl talk, late night movies, and desserts.
So much fun.  Gonna miss this gal.

I squeezed in a quick tutorial photo session right before we headed to the airport.

Break out the pins and try it!
Toodle-oo,

p.s. A big thank you and long {squeez-ie} to my sis, Heather for tolerating me!

count your blessings
#162 hairspray...what would I do without you?
#163 bobby pins...I love you so
#164 beautiful sisters

I love when you find feminine hairstyles and you share them!!!

...and stay on that soapbox!! You are making a very valid point!

I'm so glad I found your blog. So close, yet so far away...

Thank you.

Lovely! One of my favorite tutorials you've posted.

Her hair is beautiful. Mine is only sholder length, so I don't know if I will get it to work. Sure is worth a try =)

I actually saw you wear this hairstyle (or one similar) and was hoping you'd post a tutorial on it! My attempts obviously needed coaching! :-)

I agree! Women forget in this "dog eat dog" world that it's still ok to be girly and feminine, it doesn't detract from what we say or think, it makes us more!
Beautiful hairstyle! Thanks for the tips!

Visiting from Far Above Rubies...this is gorgeous! I have long hair, but am terrible at styling it, so I love all the tutorials I can find on blogs.

Found you on Far Above Rubies. This is gorgeous and it looks easy enough to try on myself! I will definitely give it a shot. Thanks! :)
