We had a full day today.
I had my Girl's club meeting in the Valley this morning, while Prince and the other girls moved all the desks around in the high school room so we can have church tomorrow. Each Saturday we have to move their desks and stack them up and rearrange our chairs into rows, bring in our pulpit and set it up, layout hymnals, and clean up the floors. I carry about 20 chairs outside and arrange them in a shady spot for my children's Sunday School class. Every Sunday night after church we take all our stuff down and make it a school room again. {whew} Please pray with us that we find land to build a permanent church building on soon.
After Girl's Only Club, Prince took us to a little "tuck" shop and we bought some little box lunches and cold waters. We LOVE box lunches. They each consist of a piece of fried chicken, rice and peas, and shredded vegetables (mostly cabbage). All handed to you in a little styrofoam box with a plastic fork wrapped in half a napkin. Spot Valley (where our church is located) is on the coast but as you're entering up into the mountains. So many of the homes there are built on steep slopes and have a great view of the Sea. We have a routine of parking up on the top of one of these mountains and eating our lunch while we watch the Sea waves, nearly every Saturday.
After we finished eating we walked the streets in the Valley for a couple hours and talked to people and handed out invitations to our Church. The sun is getting hotter as we head into the Summer here.
Mama's tired. Looks like leftovers for supper! I have to bake a cake, we're having a baby shower for Auntie Jannice tomorrow after church!
The princesses love to visit with the neighbor lady whenever they see her outside in her yard.
She is retired back to Jamaica after being a nurse in Long Island, New York.
Her children and grandkids are in America and she misses them. So she borrows mine.
Among other things, she has some very yummy orange trees.
She called us over a few days ago and we took the wagon!
Some very happy little girls tugged a load of sweet oranges home.
(this picture of Alexis is blurry but i love her eyes in it.)
(Miss Eden, ever the comedian.)

Missing you guys today. I was thinking how beautiful Alexis looked in that picture too. I also could hear Eden's laugh and wish I could get a big hug from her again. Love y'all!
So sweet. I love all your posts about your little princesses :-)
Thanks so much for letting me travel the world on my lunch break today. Blessings to you and yours!
We meet at our local university for church (Charles Darwin University of all places!). We're praying for land and a building as well. Will be praying for you all, I know all too well what it's like to tare down, set up, tare down, set up, etc.
Love reading your blog! I remember when our church didn't have a building, we had church in a school too, and had to set up every service. I will pray you find a building soon.
