"Belt it out, Bing”

Monday, December 6, 09
I was getting a little tired of listening to all the ragae music blaring out of my neighbor’s houses, so this morning I put on a cd of Christmas music and me and the girls twirled around our big living room. Spinning in circles to the sounds of Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra singing all my favorite Christmas songs. I turned the tv way up and let “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas” float through the open windows. “Let it snow...Let it snow....Let it snow” as we wear sun dresses! lol
This house in Spanish Town has 4 bedroom and in all of them there are huge closets that have sliding mirrors as doors, the girls LOVE to put their princess dresses on and pretend they are at a royal ball.
The neighbors decorated a big tree in their front yard today. They hung lots of tinsel, garland, lights, and balloons. The best thing though was seeing the men decorating it. One of them wore a bright blue tropical shirt unbuttoned down the front, old blue jeans with holes all in them, no shoes, and a bright red santa hat! It was funny to see.
It rained today, we were out in the yard playing when it started so I let the girls play in the rain and get soaked. The big cool rain drops felt sooo wonderful! I’m so glad that I have kids....I don’t think I could have refrained myself from splashing in the puddles. Since I have kids, it looks a little more respectable cause I’m playing with them. I would have been known as the “crazy whitie from the States”.

I hate to burst your bubble, but you're probably already known as the crazy whitie from the states, so go ahead and splash in those puddles with or without the kids!

Oh, I've enjoyed reading thru your blog tonight. You are definitely an inspiration to me. I love your sense of humor too. I'm so glad I was able to catch up with you and your precious family. Your in my prayers!

Oh, I think the 2nd comment is spam, unless you read blogs with pics of beer all over them...Stupid spammers! I got one with a link to chinese porn the other day.

Hi, Maria!
Julia sent me over to catch up with you and your sweet family. Here I thought for some reason that all this time your third baby was a boy, but I see you had another girl. Fun! My three girls in a row amuse me daily. I love to see their cozy threesome enjoying so much of life together.
I enjoyed reading about your life in Jamaica. You are a real inspiration. I'll be back! :)
