Christmas T' Time {#2} and Linky Party

Take the Time To Challenge #2 is....
          Christmas Cookies!

I love them!  There are so many different kinds.  Each family has those favorites that are requested each year.  Ever since I was a little girl, the Christmas baking has been one of my favorite things.  There are a few that always make because my mom did, and a few that I added to the collection.

Festive Cookie Directions:

I used my regular sugar cookie recipe.

Divided dough into 2 bowls.

Colored one bowl festive green.

Rolled the doughs flat between waxed paper and froze them.

After they were frozen I peeled the top sheet of wax paper off and

 laid them on top each other till they were bendable.

Rolled them like a jelly roll, then rolled them on a tray full of sprinkles.

Placed them back in the freezer until they are hard and easy to slice.

So pretty. 

So take the time.  Break out the food coloring and sprinkles and tie your apron in a pretty little bow.  Make that house smell good when your sweetheart comes home!
