Some days it's great...being a kid.

Yes, I realize their clothes don't match.   

But, when you're 5 and 6....does it really matter for playtime?

Overheard on the veranda...

   Many times I hear the princesses "playing school".  Moriah is usually the teacher and she instructs Alexis or Eden in Math or penmenship.  This morning, I overheard Princess Eden say, "Always...always...always!  Mi can't always do yu school wuk for you 'Riah."  Apparently all this time she thought it was work and not play.

Overheard on the backstep...

   Alexis and Eden were sitting on the step eating watermelon.  Alexis said, "Don't eat the beans, Eden, spit them out.  When you get to the crust... stop."

Overheard in the bedroom...

  The girls were playing with their dolls when Moriah (in a worried serious voice) asks Alexis, "Do you think 7 is old?"  {long pause}  Alexis (in her serious mater-of-fact voice) says, " No."
