My two older princesses are doing Abeka curriculum...which I love.
Lil' Eden needs some busy work to keep her occupied and challenge her little mind.
Every good day starts off with a cup of coffee (aka chocolate milk).
Bright Idea
Dyed Noodles....how awesome is that?
Colored noodles is old school, but one of those things that every kid loves.
Here is the "Recipe"
Put 2 Tablespoons of Rubbing Alcohol and mix with drops of food coloring.
Add in 1 cup noodles (any cool shape).
Shake the bag till all the noodles are coated.
Pour off excess liquid and put on an old pan to dry overnight.
I had this BEST WORD BOOK EVER book when I was little.
I remember really enjoying all the details and colors.
My girls love this book. They look at it over and over.
I gave Eden the noodles and had her put a green noodle on anything green on the pages.
This book worked perfect for this.
I also wrote "her letter" in glue and let her arrange the noodles on them.
Next, we did smiling faces with our noodles.
(You can see that in the corner of the first picture)
Bright Idea
I went through some of our Memory Match game cards.
If it had a "main" color on the card I put it in a pile.
After spreading multi-colored paper on the floor I handed the princess a card saying the color name,
I had her repeat me then place the card on the matching big paper.
Count your blessings

#2 baby toes

This is such a neat idea! I loved looking at the pictures, reminded me of when I was in kindergarten and used to make crafts with noodles...fun times! I can't wait till the prince is old enough to start working with crafts!
